Final Open Project launch and Ideas

Today the final open project has been launced to everyone and we have been told what we need to do for this project, this project we can do whatever we want to do for example 3D modelling, animation, concept art etc. We also have to write and structure our own briefs, so far i came up with an idea to do some concept art for this project and also a animated story board or in other words a digital animatic but drawn either by hand or Photoshop I have not fully decided to do it yet but the reason i might want to do it is becasue it's something kind of new in a way creating a animated storyboard rather than creating a still story board and the challenge it would provide, if focused and well concentrated on this might come out perfectly.

HOLY DOOLEY THATS A PRISON!?LOLOLOL

design and modern technology/ furniture of the prisoner (was modern in 1964)

today we watched the first episode of the prisoner in drews lesson and we got the chance to observe what  modern technology was like in 1964 and what kind of fancy and stylish furniture they had in they're possession. This is an egg shaped chair that was used in "the prisoner". This chair looks modern but it was made in 1958 and its still something that we might still find in someones home.

Patrick Mcgoohan has clearly shown us that in the world of the prisoner its more like a summer resort for old seniors rather then a suffercating prison, you have your own fancy room to stay in rather than being held inside a cell. How ever if you cant learn to enjoy the life in portmeirion then you will end up having giant white bubble come after you. There is a say in the prisoner " a still tongue makes a happy life" which may mean that a happy life can be gained if you stay silent and mind your own buisness.

My 3D lampost

This is a quick 3D model i had done with the lesson we all had with mark on maya. we had been asked to find an image of a lampost using the web browser and i have found a spefic lampost i wanted to 3d model, then i had begun to model using a polygon cube then i eventually got this as result.

Applications of 3D

3D modelling is extremely common in majority of the jobs in the world. 3D modelling is not only used in the computer games industry for the assets used within a video game but it is also used within the medical industry to help model detailed versions of the human organs, also it is used within the filming industry for motion capturing and animation. The architecture industry also uses 3D modelling for developing houses, buildings and the interiors which gives helps them to know what a building or the interior look like.
